FREEMaltha Waru Arts Celebration & Fashion Show 2025
Celebrating Indigenous culture through art and fashion
Celebrate culture, creativity, and community at the Maltha Waru Fashion Event, part of the 2025 Mount Isa Indigenous Arts Celebration. Maltha Waru, meaning “Many Paths” in the Kalkadoon language, represents the powerful stories and diverse artistic journeys of Indigenous artists from Outback North West Queensland.
This landmark Indigenous fashion event showcases a new casual clothing line featuring digitally adapted traditional and contemporary Indigenous artwork. Each garment is a unique piece of wearable art, reflecting the vibrant heritage and creativity of emerging First Nations designers.
Join us for an inspiring evening where culture meets contemporary fashion, and support the voices of Indigenous communities
through art and design. Don’t miss this unforgettable celebration of identity, innovation, and style.
